Hands down true Neapolitan pizza. 900 degrees, 90 sec cooking time, double zero flour… bingo! Loved it. Wait staff very friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait for wintertime so we can sit outside, with our beast, on their patio. So many items to try… can’t wait! Scrumptious!
We went for lunch on a Friday & were seated right away. We ordered a buffalo mozzarella pizza as our appetizer which was delicious! Then we had lasagna, strozzapreti norcina, a chicken dish with a side of greens & a pasta with mushrooms in a mushroom cream sauce. We tasted each others dishes & they were all delicious. We ordered from the dinner menu, so we had plenty to take home! They have live music on some evenings too!
Started off poorly when we checked in and were told the patio table we requested and were told "no problem" had already been reserved. Take inside was nice, but the atmosphere is a bit louder than we were hoping for on a date night. We ordered a bruschetta variety and it was super good. One of the flavors had a bit of a bite to it which I didn't care for, but my wife lived it and I loved the other 2 types so that worked out well. My wife ordered the eggplant parmesan and when it cane out, it was cold. They made another one and it came out piping hot. Unfortunately, their style is "skin on" which is not my wife's preference. The manager offered to replace with another meal, but my wife declined. My lasagna was great, but the pizza that I saw delivered to another table looked amazing. Service was friendly but a bit lacking in following up (not filing up water glasses often enough is a pet peeve of mine), but we agreed we will give them another try and I still give them a 4 out of 5 on this visit.
We stopped in the night before Thanksgiving without a reservation, but Nick & his staff took great care of us. We had some of the amazing pizza & pasta plus the dessert sampler. We come here often and whether its happy hour with live music or a family dinner the experience is always a good one. The Bottega Pizza is a favorite as well as the Salsiccia pasta. People always say to go to Arrowhead Grill when you want a fine dining or celebratory dinner, but I think this place is the top of the list for the best dinner in Arrowhead.
The staff was really friendly when we came in for our anniversary. They gave us complimentary bread with two butters to snack while we looked over the menu. Our server recommended a bottle of red that I can neither spell or pronounce that was a great compliment to our meal. The appetizer was the brucetta trio. I would do the balsamic with tomato by it's self. The fig and brie would be great as a dessert. Next was the side salad with fresh greens. For our choices we had the spicy shrimp pasta and the pasta with mushrooms in a creamy cognac sauce. The mushroom pasta won hands down with that great pasta. We took the desert sampler home. Tiramisu and the Italian pudding won us over. Thanks to everyone there who helped make our 26th a great time to remember. Sincerely, David and Rick
