My husband words were " I feel like I'm at my grandmother house". My first time ever experiencing such fantastic Italian food. Service was excellent. My favorite was the Tara misu desert. We will be back 100%.
We ended up stuck here in Phoenix, Arizona because of a massive meso with Southwest airlines. We needed to find somewhere nice to eat and this place was recommended to us. We walked over 4 miles to get there and back, and it was definitely worth it. We ate outside and the atmosphere was lovely. The food was excellent. My hubby loved the sangria. Out waitress Natalia was super sweet and attentive. If we lived in the area, we would be regulars here!
We live in Tempe but due to a house fire are living in Chandler until our house is rebuilt. Woke up Saturday wanting to spend a nice dinner with my sweetheart. Went online to check out some fine dining places in Tempe, Chandler, Ahwatukee, etc., until I realized I was wasting my time... just go to Adela's in Phoenix! We entered and immediately felt at home. Ordered a great bottle of wine... fresh hot bread & butter was brought to our table. Ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms as a starter... couldn't help but soak up the extra sauce with our bread! Gorgonzola Salad & Insalata alla Calbrese were next... neither one of us could stop raving about the salads! Entrees arrived... Lobster Ravioli for her... Vitello alla Sorrentino for me... and each was delicious! It was a great date night!
Excellent food, it really gives you a homemade feel! The bread was bomb, I had 3 baskets and didn't feel guilty ???? I'll work it off at the gym Lol. The Pasta Primavera was devine and the sauce is plente and delicous I almost liked the plate! The egg drop spinach chicken broth was perfect for the winter. I wish I had room for desert lol. The service was good, I just wish they had more staff to attend a little bit quicker. I did not want to rate them lower than a 5 because all restaurants are struggling for personelle and they deserve the 5 stars. You have to visit Adelas when you come to Phoenix. It's very Chic!
